Mankato Integrative Medicine offers a full-service functional medicine testing as well as standard conventional blood testing at a discounted price.

Lab services are only available to Mankato Integrative Medicine patients at this time. 

 

Functional Medicine Testing

We offer an array of testing from numerous functional medicine labs via Rupa Health. Rupa Health is a clearing house offering services from most functional labs. Common tests we offer via Rupa Health:

GI Map stool testing

Food sensitivity testing (IgG, IgE)

Gluten sensitivity (including celiac) 

Breath testing for SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth)

How It Works

The practitioner will place an order for you into the Rupa Health portal. You will receive a payment link via email to purchase your test kit from Rupa Health. Once payment is made, your kit will ship to your door. All collections other than blood draws will be collected in the comfort of your own home and then shipped back to the lab for processing either via FedEx or UPS.

Blood draw kits will require you to return to the clinic or one of Rupa Health's draw centers so that medical staff can draw your blood and process your specimens. 

​

Once your results are finished, your provider will send them to you via email from the Rupa Health portal. You will be able to see the finished report. Once you receive the report, you can contact the clinic to set up your results appointment. Results appointments can be done by phone, video, in person or via email (for short panels).

Standard Conventional Testing

We do not process insurance which significantly reduces the out-of-pocket cost of lab testing to a fraction of what you would pay at an insurance-based clinic. This method is best for those who: 

​

• Have high insurance deductibles

• Uninsured

• Health share plans

​

If you have Medicare, Medicaid or have met your deductible for the year, Mankato Integrative will send orders to your local clinic so that you can use insurance for standard conventional lab testing.
